About hamcation

HamCation requires year round effort by the Chairman and individual Chairs for each area. There are monthly planning meetings and arrangements to be made well in advance. In addition, the team is always looking for ways to improve both the guest and the vendor experience.

The groups dedication to this effort along with volunteers from various HAM organizations around Central Florida make this event the fastest growing event of this type in the country. This effort also assures a good time for all and a good return on investment for vendors.

HamCationsm is the largest annual event, other than the County Fair, to be held every year at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
